Dubai; A famous city for tourism

Why is Dubai so popular or famous? Tourism is something Dubai is well-known for, thanks to its architectural marvels. By any modern standard, the city is the fourth most visited city on the planet and a top tourist destination.

Dubai’s landscape rises from the Arabian Peninsula’s desert sands like something out of a Star Wars film. Its destinations are either larger than life, futuristic, or both; and these, along with Dubai’s standard and taste, are the reasons for its popularity. Here are some specific examples of Dubai’s popularity.

The Top of Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa is Dubai’s landmark building and major tourist attraction, standing 829.8 meters tall and being the most famous of the city’s points of interest.

A visit to the observation deck on the 124th floor is a must-do for most visitors while in the city. The views of the city skyline from this vantage point are simply breathtaking. Burj Al Arab Tour

The slick observation deck experience includes a multimedia presentation on both Dubai and the construction of the Burj Khalifa before a high-speed elevator whisks you up to the observation deck for those 360-degree views out across the skyscrapers to the desert on one side and the ocean on the other (completed in 2010). Because of Dubai’s famous city-lights panoramas, nighttime visits are especially popular with photographers.

Purchase your Burj Khalifa at the top Entrance Ticket in advance to avoid long lines, especially if visiting on a weekend.

Dubai Fountain Display

The gardens of Burj Park wrap around the Burj Khalifa, with walkways dotted with modern art sculptures. Burj Park is the location for viewing the Dubai Fountain display on Burj Lake.

This is the world’s tallest performing fountain, inspired by the famous Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, with water displays shooting up to 150 meters into the air.

The 30-minute-long displays are held regularly after dark, and while the display itself is free, there are additional fees to access the add-on experiences.

The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk’s floating platform is one of the most popular close-up views, and there are also opportunities to take an abra (traditional wooden boat) onto Burj Lake to see the fountains from the water.

Dubai Desert Safari

Dubai has some of the most beautiful desert landscapes in the world. What better way to see these golden sands than on the back of a camel? Camel safaris are a popular tourist activity in Dubai, and numerous tour companies offer them.

The majority of safaris last about an hour and take place in the morning or evening when temperatures are cooler. During the Dubai desert safari, you’ll get a close look at Dubai’s Desert wildlife and maybe even spot a few gazelles or falcons. You’ll also be able to take in the breathtaking scenery as you ride through the dunes. So, if you want to have an adventure while visiting Dubai, book a camel safari. You will not be regretful!

Dubai Marina

The Dubai Marina is a must-see attraction in Dubai. This location has become one of the most exotic to visit. The fact that it is considered one of the largest man-made marinas in the world has contributed to its immense popularity and growth. Not only is there the Marina, but there are numerous activities available, ranging from restaurants to shopping plazas.

Underwater World at Dubai Aquarium

The Dubai Aquarium, one of the city’s top tourist attractions, houses 140 species of sea life in a massive suspended tank on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall.

Although there is free viewing from the mall, entering the Underwater Zoo with its three-story high, 270-degree views along the length of the glass-panel tunnels is the highlight of a visit here.

For visitors who want a close-up encounter with some of the aquarium’s inhabitants, such as hand-feeding eagle rays and diving with reef and tiger sharks, the aquarium offers a variety of aquatic experiences and activities.

Mall of Emirates

The Mall of Emirates is a popular shopping destination in Dubai. The mall, which has over 700 stores, is home to several luxury brands as well as a slew of restaurants and cafes. The mall also has an indoor ski resort, making it an ideal place to cool off in the summer. Add the Mall of Emirates to your travel itinerary if you’re looking for a truly unique shopping experience.

Palm Jumeirah

Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island shaped like a palm tree, is one of Dubai’s most popular tourist attractions. This is home to some of the best hotels and resorts in Dubai, as well as a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. There are also a variety of activities to keep you entertained, such as swimming, sunbathing, and windsurfing. If you want to try something a little more adventurous, you can go parasailing or jet skiing.

Beautiful Culture

Dubai is a culturally and historically rich city. The Dubai Museum, the Bastakia Quarter, and the Jumeirah Mosque are just a few of the exciting attractions to visit. Furthermore, Dubai is home to several world-renowned events, including the Dubai World Cup and the Dubai Jazz Festival. Of course, no trip to Dubai would be complete without a visit to the top of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

Ferrari World

The Ferrari World Abu dhabi is not a car display, but rather the polar opposite. Ferrari World is Abu Dhabi’s largest amusement park. It was established in 2010 and has since attracted a large number of tourists over the years. The building is designed to suit and cater to everyone’s needs, from 8 to 80 years old. Aside from riding a Ferrari, you can also go shopping and dine at quaint restaurants serving local favorites. It is without a doubt one of the best places to visit in Dubai.
